We are celebrating teachers day on Bharata ratna, First Vice president of india, Second president of inida Sri Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan birth day to remember his great work to the country.

Visakhapatnam has close realtion with Sri Radhakishnan. He worked as Andhra University Vice chancellor before Independence from 1931 to 1936. Also he is prof in AU, Visakhapatnam.

Department of Philosophy Profile of AU was founded in 1932 by Prof. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Former President of India, with Prof. Saileswara sen as the first Head of the Department and Prof. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan himself as a honorary professor.

Proud to have such a great person part of our city and guided us in a great manner. Once again Happy Teachers day.
